We took a trip up to Lassen National Park, McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park, and McCloud Falls

A forest fire had devastated a large part of the park a few years back and many of the trees are still black and dead. 😒😒 There is a Sulpher Works stop with a bubbling mudpot and a stinky smell where we had planned on doing a hike, but the trail was closed due to snow.πŸ₯΄

So, we kept driving up the beautiful mountain (around 8,500 ft. elevation), saw a gorgeous green lake called Emerald Lake, and a still partially frozen lake called Lake Helen.

After that, we kept driving further up the gorgeous mountain, saw quite a few different lakes and campgrounds, ⛺️ and then moved onto the waterfalls!

The last two pictures are of the middle and upper McCloud Falls,
